Who We Are

Our story is led by passion, tradition, and innovation. Rooted in the rich heritage of tea-making and the vibrant spirit of Western Australia.
 

It all started in 2018 at the Fremantle Markets, a hub of creativity and culture. This iconic coastal town, known for its heritage and maritime history, became the perfect setting for our mission of blending local flavours with time-honoured tea traditions.
 

In just a few years, we’ve expanded throughout Perth and into Singapore, where we are grateful for the warm welcome to our craft beverages. Innovation is at our core—such as introducing Australia’s first Tofu Milk Tea, one of our most popular creations. We stay true to traditional brewing methods, using cold-pressed tea leaves instead of bags or powders, ensuring maximum flavour and health benefits in every sip.

Our story extends beyond us—it’s a collaboration of passion, craftsmanship, and community. We source premium local ingredients and collaborate with the legendary Mount Wuyi Tea Masters from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for over 1,600 years of tea production. From our skilled baristas and creators who drive product innovation to our loyal customers who inspire us. We don't just make craft beverages; we create moments of pure delight. Each sip is a celebration of detail, intention, and the perfect balance between indulgence and wellbeing.

Great bubble tea shouldn’t come at the planet’s expense. That’s why Chaffic is all about plastic-free packaging and sustainable choices. Single-use plastics are a major contributor to landfill waste, taking decades to decompose while releasing harmful toxins into the environment. That’s why we’ve taken active steps to lead the change:

  • We were the first bubble tea brand in WA to introduce biodegradable packaging's

  • We’ve swapped out plastic for paper straws and paper lids​​

Supporting Local Communities

Giving back to the communities that support us is at the heart of Chaffic. We proudly sponsor university clubs, collaborate on local events, and support youth initiatives, creating opportunities for growth, creativity, and connection. As an accredited partner of both UWA and Curtin, we aim to empower students and young professionals through these partnerships, helping them bring their ideas to life and build a strong foundation for the future.

At Chaffic, we are also proud to partner with local organisations such as the City of Perth and Australian Energy Production, supporting events that promote community growth and connections. We are committed to supporting the Indigenous community by sourcing our coffee beans from a Supply Nation-certified Indigenous business. 

​

Additionally, Chaffic has been a long-standing sponsor of Don Bosco School in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, where we support their tooth brushing program by consistently providing cup sets. Through these efforts, we strive to give back to the communities both locally and globally.

Ethically Sourced Ingredients

At Chaffic, we are dedicated to using premium local ingredients, sourced with care and commitment to ethical practices. We source our Wuyi tea leaves from the Mount Wuyi Tea Masters, located in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These leaves are ethically harvested through responsible farming practices, ensuring that every cup delivers a rich, authentic taste.
 

We also proudly use dairy products from Brownes Dairy, which partners with local Australian farmers who uphold responsible farming practices. By choosing to support these ethical suppliers, we ensure that every ingredient not only tastes great but also contributes to sustainable farming, fair trade, and the preservation of our environment.

Our packaging is proudly sourced from BioPak, a leader in sustainable, compostable packaging solutions​​. We are sourcing our coffee beans from Kuppa Coffee, a Supply Nation-certified Indigenous business. Their mission is to empower the Indigenous community and contribute to a sustainable future for generations to come.
